Quality Assurance Chemist

Allure Labs, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Quality Assurance Chemist based in Hayward, California. Responsibilities will include: coordinate and perform chemical, physical and microbiological testing of the quality of finished products, product samples, packaging, and raw materials for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and over-the-counter products. Develop, design and maintain the quality system documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Operate, validate, calibrate, and maintain all equipment/instruments used for analysis in the quality control department at regular intervals to ensure proper working order and trouble shoot malfunctions when needed. Prepare, standardize and maintain working standards, standard test solutions, reagents and solvents to conduct tests. Track and manage Product complaints, CAPAs, Deviations, NCMRs, Change Control Procedures, Annual Product Review and Supplier (vendor) Qualification for the Raw Materials. Maintain quality manual files and facilitate internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures. Provide quality assurance input to manufacturing, quality control, and development processes ensuring cGMP compliance, and support regulatory submissions. Perform batch record review and approve as per safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Utilize experience in SOP, API, STP, FP and cGMP.

 

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in a related occupation. Experience must have included SOP, API, STP, FP and cGMP.

Production Chemist

Allure Labs, Inc. is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Quality Assurance Chemist based in Hayward, California. Responsibilities will include: coordinate and perform chemical and physical testing of the quality of finished products, product samples, packaging, and raw materials for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and over-the-counter products. Analyze compounds and components to determine physical properties of finished products. Organize and execute bulk manufacturing, filling, and packing of finished products. Manage and test the quality of product samples, packaging, and raw materials. Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory and manufacturing machinery and equipment. Create reports and prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, or tests. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, drug rules, and other quality control requirements. Utilize experience in SOP, DM water plant, Cream & ointment manufacturing system, and cGMP.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Science or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in a related occupation. Experience must have included SOP, DM water plant, Cream & ointment manufacturing system, and cGMP.
