ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Ability to process 3 way P.O. matching invoices, up to 100 plus line items.
  • Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
  • Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.
  • Assist AP Specialist to response to all vendor inquiries
  • Assist with reconciling vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
  • Assist in month end closing
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Filing, data entry for accounting team
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one (1) year Accounting experience required
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate machinery that mixes and grinds raw materials to produce compounds.
  • Must follow standard instructions to measure of chemicals.
  • Must check for consistency in various batches and measure the viscosity of the mixtures using viscometer.
  • Assist QC in samples in bulk.
  • May help with the compression or granulation of tablets or other units of the compounds.
  • Must follow sanitation guidelines thoroughly when cleaning machinery.
  • Often have the task of filling out paperwork about the compound batches.
  • Controlling temperatures.
  • Skilled in dispensing the raw materials for bulk product.
  • Maintain the cleaning of equipment maintenance log book.
  • Perform miscellaneous job duties assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION:

A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, some college education preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience working chemicals and plant extraction is a highly desired.

SUMMARY: 

 

With direct supervision, this position develops personal care and color cosmetic products to meet customer demands.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Follow established formulas to create laboratory batches of personal care and color cosmetics.
  • Test batches for product conformance.
  • Stability test and monitor results of lab batches.
  • Keep accurate records of batches and stability results.
  • Meet with customers and raw materials vendors as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory.
  • Review industry publications and raw material literature to increase awareness of industry trends.
  • Must adhere to safety standards during laboratory work, such as wearing protection clothing and taking additional precautions as needed.
  • Communicate product/projects updates to clients.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor.

 

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.

2nd Shift Packaging and Filling Supervisor – 2pm – 10:30 pm

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all processing activities are in conformance with product specifications and GMP’s
  • Ensure all machines and equipment are clean and sanitized before each run
  • Organize and assign all employees per line
  • Verify all products are placed in correct packaging, and ensure weight, batch number, and expiration dates are correct
  • Cross verify batch numbers with batch tickets
  • Serve as a liaison between Department Managers and Hourly Employees.
  • Schedule work assignments, vacations, and days off for the Hourly Employees.
  • Responsible for assessing the needs and provide training to all employees and document training.
  • Responsible for conducting monthly safety and quality sessions as required and keep adequate documented records.
  • Work with HR Department to resolve team conflict and issue documented disciplinary actions and recognition.
  • Set specific and measurable goals for the department’s continuous improvement.
  • Follow and direct company regulations.
  • Accountable for ensuring that all safety policies and regulations are enforced
  • Work with HR Department for safety training, enforcement of safety rules/policies as well as drug / alcohol control policy.

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ Experience in contract manufacturing supervisory role with a proven track record in leading manufacturing teams of 30 + employees
  • Cosmetic manufacturing experience preferred. Will consider food/beverage manufacturing experience for right candidate
  • Ability to stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear jams, and report malfunctions to Production Manager
  • Bilingual Spanish / English required; Effectively communicate in Spanish and English both verbal and written required
  • Experience and exposure to regulatory inspections (OSHA, FDA, etc.)
  • Experience with Quality Systems and Programs
  • Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Team leadership/development skills, including the ability to supervise people; successful in building and mentoring high-performance team.
  • Maturity, self-confidence, and strong communication skills will be essential for this role.

Education

Responsibilities:

  • Manages daily Production, Production and Filling Planning, Warehouse, Maintenance operations and personnel. Works with purchasing Manager on forecasting.
  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day to day Production and warehouse operations to exceed our customer’s expectations directly or through subordinate Managers and Supervisors.
  • Implements strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
  • With General Manager, develops systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure return on assets
  • Assures compliance of all production operations with company policy and federal, state, and local regulations including agencies such as ISO, FDA
  • Coordinate production activities with other internal company departments and establish effective working relationships with external regulatory agencies and clients
  • Review manufacturing performance and evaluates strengths and weaknesses, ensuring goals, objectives and plans are consistent with client and company goals and objectives.
  • Be the driver for all manufacturing operations including the safety, production and warehouse efficiencies, quality, customer service, employee development and financial performance of the production department.

Experience:

  • A proven track record of continuous improvement successes and efficiencies
  • BS degree in Chemistry or related field or 5 years of equivalent work experience in Chemist role preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a laboratory environment preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze, prioritize, plan, multi-function and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, production management tools, ERP
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented; able to work effectively under pressure with high-energy, and proactive style; brings well developed sense of urgency to all work. Must be quality minded, self-motivated, analytical and results oriented.
  • Reports directly to the General Manager.

SUMMARY: 

 

Assist the Filling and Production Department in finished products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Interface with R&D, QC and Warehouse for checking the new formulations and Bill of Materials for the new products.
  • Check Purchase Orders from clients and help schedule the production by interacting with the Warehouse, Purchasing and Production teams.
  • Maintain database of Purchase Orders and help identify materials and packing needed to complete the PO and interact with the Production Coordinator to update clients.
  • Organize Finished and Bulk areas.
  • Responsible for moving materials.
  • Heavy lifting of boxes, drums, etc.
  • Assembling boxes and placing products into boxes.
  • Responsible for handling left over product after filling.
  • Keep work area clean and safe for work.
  • Clean pumps after use in the Filling department/area.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

 

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

 

  • A High School diploma or GED (General Education Diploma).
  • Some experience in a fast-paced setting in production or manufacturing is a plus.

SUMMARY: 

 

Under direct supervision, the Project Coordinator is responsible to administer and organize all project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the Director of Operations and General Manager, aiming at flawless execution of the projects.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers
  • Coordinate activities and resources with procurement and production teams
  • Works closely with Accounting/Production and Purchasing department
  • Follow guidelines outlined in SOP
  • Maintain current client and pricing files
  • Liaison with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Make certain that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
  • Enter production orders and coordinating with the Production Admin

SUMMARY:

Regulatory Associate is responsible for product regulatory compliance, product specifications and product formulations. This will include USA regulatory compliance, as well as working towards international documentation and registration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and develop SDS, ingredient listing for finished product.
  • Monitor project progress and achieve US and International regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrate good lab practices and regulatory compliance in product development and compiling the finished product dossier.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance related to EU PIF/ dossiers.
  • Assist in processing product registration documentation for EU/Asia/Canada/Australia/Middle East.
  • Identify and maintain updated records of compliant raw material dossiers, ability to source and collaborate with RM suppliers to ensure GMP/ISO regulations and standards.
  • Support communication and regulatory documents with manufacturers on new formula development, reformulations, audits, testing (stability, compatibility, micro, RIPT and OTC).
  • Ensure label artwork regulatory for global compliance, review marketing collateral and work in translation agencies.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or Management Administration
  • Minimum 1 year or more in cosmetic and/or personal care product development industry and regulatory experience required

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Manage multiple projects in positive and proactive manner
  • Ability to gain knowledge with international regulatory and be able to prepare documentation and communicate with international agencies
  • Work closely to the regulatory requirement of the customer.
  • Technical writer and document editing skills, a plus.
